Style frames from a series of in-store loops for Scion’s xD. Ultimately the project covered all car models; for the xD, the x became a street intersection where driving environments collided.

A short film featuring the entire (and extremely narrow) view outside a window in the 11th Arrondissement. Realized as a means to explore shooting with muted contrasts, it evolved into a short addition to the Analog Series (which features simple animation and usually focuses on one specific visual), w/ liquid form and type.

Original boards created for Comcast High-Speed 2 Go, Comcast’s Internet Everywhere service, for Tronic Studio. Based on web browsing influencing (and becoming a part of) someone’s surroundings, a series of frames were designed to illustrate the environment reacting to a user’s search/research of particular products (and how the wireless service follows you wherever you go).

This involved the design, animation, and edit (Adam Espinoza) of Factory Design Lab’s updated site/reel. In this example, Dennis Flippin shot footage of FDL’s staff holding posters, magazines and brochures they’d designed, which we then used to showcase other areas of their work (such as interactive design), treated as popup graphics.

In creating an animation for an architectural project, I worked with Gaspard Giroud and by-encore, (Guillaume Paturel’s architectural visualization studio in Brooklyn, NY) to design interesting and realistic renderings of a large ocean front development proposed in Tel Aviv.

An experimental short film/animation, Disparaître (to disappear) is subconscious thought told through disconnected visuals, all dealing with escape. Started as a musical composition, it evolved into a motion piece; based on the 4th movement of A Forest Overture, written and recorded in Sweden last February. [excerpt below]

analog v4. goo sphere
Part of the experimental Analog Series, this is an introduction to Element Four — Goo. Originally created to help in compositing tests, it was retrofitted to work as Channel IDs.
(apples) in stripes
Some old-fashioned Macintosh love; starting with a basic model of a laptop, this became an exercise in monochromatic design. Animation was added to explore compositing, turning frames into a small piece of motion graphics once elements of type and color were added. Created last Saturday.
